Angsana Cayo Santa Maria, Ideal place for calm and relaxation I stayed at Angsana Cayo Santa Mariadue February , I was looking for a quiet place and was served. I stayed in Cabana 2 and it was wonderful. Direct next to the sea. No problem with the room except a lack of hot water the first night but everything was resolved quickly and I, in compensation, asked for a late check out at no charge for my last day. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Like most resorts there are some crazy customers who get up before the sun and reserve seats at the beach / pool but it's like that almost everywhere so I planned the shot because I wanted to relax. I bring a portable travel umbrella and bingo! I arrived at the beach when I wanted and settled where I wanted. You also need to know what you are looking for by going there. Me it was quiet, calm I needed the sea and sleep, relax, enjoy the moment so this place is perfect for me. The site is beautiful, the food ?. Ben it is Cuba must stop having hallucinating expectations. Must also consider what is in season and out of season. I love mangos and there was almost none because not in season. If I went in April I would have but it does not matter. Everything is OK! If you want good food and especially variety then go to Mexico or elsewhere simply. Special mention at Snack Bar open 24hrs where there are swimming pools. The shrimp pizza yum! And the à la carte lunches are very respectable. The cafes (cappucinno wow) at the lobby bar are the best! In short, if you want action, continuous entertainement, noise and that moves so I recommend another place. But, if you need to decompress and just relax go there! I will definitely go back!

Love at first sight, Angsana Cayo Santa Maria ! I must begin by saying that I am on my 6th stay in Cuba and have worked in the hospitality industry in Canada for more than 10 years. I have never had the chance to live a satisfying stay. Food: For our part, we only stayed one night so we tried breakfast and dinner at the buffet. The buffet was very impressive. From the variety of food I have never seen in Cuba and the taste exceeds what I have eaten in other parts of the world. For dessert, they have a specialized chef so you can be sure to please your taste buds. We also tasted many choices at the Bistro. You MUST taste the breaded shrimp. In the other resorts, at the pool bistro there are usually 4 to 5 choices. For their part, in Angsana, they have several pages of menu and EVERYTHING is delicious. Club sandwiches, chicken fingers, lasagna, fries, and à la carte breakfast. Atmosphere: This is not a place where you will party until the wee hours of the morning. But they have artists who come to entertain us at night with good music. For our part, the party raised with a dozen people at the bar, long live the bar staff who knew how to make us dance and sing !! It's a quiet and relaxing place ... no kids on the resort ... 18 years old and over. Beach. Wonderful. Two beaches are accessible: the shared beach with the Dawha or there are deck chairs and catamaran rental and a small secret private beach ... but I do not tell you or ... it seems that it's a secret ;) Staff: COUR DE CUP !!!!! everyone is friendly and welcoming. The hotel managers took care to come and talk to us, I know they worked very hard to have human employees and close to people, it was important for them. Each one has been carefully selected to provide exceptional customer service and that seems to be the case. A hello to my friend Tayluma who made me discover this corner of paradise. And to our new friends, Nally at the bar and the animation supervisor and her wonderful girlfriend. You are all great people, thank you for your time, your attention and your kindness. Eric and I can not wait to see you again. Spa: You must book a massage, I received a massage that gave me my relaxation before my 4 children. Memorable. The exercise room is at the cutting edge of technology. Resort and rooms: Clean and wonderful !!! When entering the rooms, the lights and air conditioning come on with a motion detector. Even the outside path on the resort lights up during our stay (again with motion detection). The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything is done to satisfy the pleasure of the eyes on the spot. In short I received a welcome in gold (incomparable), everyone is friendly and warm, we eat like royalty and we are comfortably accommodated. For our part, we are already looking for our next vacation to this place since our return.

A thank you to all employees, but in particular to these: Travel from December 28, 2018 to January 4, 2019 In my review of yesterday's Angsana Cayo Santa Maria, I forgot to mention a few employees who stood out in an extraordinary way. They are all wonderful but some of them have marked us. Eric at the lobby bar. What joy and service. Always smiling and welcoming, a bit too teasing Hahaha Richard at the lobby bar. A boy's love. Polite, smiling, helping and always ready to give 100%. He made us our drinks without being asked. Pucurul Lobby bar - greeted us everywhere on the resort, smiling at all times, funny and welcoming. Luis at the lobby bar - so nice. He helped me get out of it one night or I did not make a lemon drink. He had guessed that I would not feel. A charming and helpful man. Lewis Aynel. Duniesky The gentleman at the towels: Always smile, little flower and sweets with excellent service. Sucel at the buffet - What a bomb of joy. Smiling, happy, helping. A silk. José at the pool snack. - The evening of our arrival, he immediately understood that our spouses loved Buccanero in a can and without asking he brought them. He made excellent drink. Judy the lovely waitress at the poolside snack and another young lady whose name I do not remember. A woman of color. Very nice and smiling. In 19 trips to Cuba, I really had to leave them. All employees are extras. Angsana .... It is located in Cayo Las Brujas, it shares the same beach as the Dhawa. Both hotels are at each end and no other hotel. (Playa La Manteca) 1.2 km roundtrip. 90 minutes from the airport. Home: It's midnight when we arrive and very welcome. Our rooms are in the main building and our suitcases arrive quickly with a smile. Site: Very beautiful, zen, beautiful vegetation for a new hotel. Not too big, made in length. Main building in the center, cabanas on each side. Very well maintained. The lobby is beautiful as is the lobby bar. Beach: Two swimmable beaches including one shared with the Dhawa and another at the end of the complex. Bar on each beach, chair service. Two others very small and wild. Pools: Two central pools at the main building. Very beautiful, chairs in large quantities and palapas sufficient. Chairs service. (Bar). We even bring a cushion for the head. Restaurants: Two à la carte, reservations required. Fish and Asian. The food was varied and good. The service good but in running. Just be aware of it and notify your customers. Snack at the pool between one of the pools and the sea. Very nice. Very varied and excellent food. We even had supper one night. With the lighting of the pool it's a nice atmosphere. What was the highlight of Angsana Cayo Santa Maria Hotel
Tranquility and good service !! We went to Angsana Cayo Santa Maria, from January 1st to 8th and it was all a nice week. The hotel was not full capacity and the beach restaurant was not open. On the other hand the place is very quiet, beautiful construction. The super comfortable rooms, from the mattress to the shower ... The main beach is worthy of the most beautiful Cuban beaches and its bar service is excellent. In the lobby we were charmed by Alian Topes who is an excellent ambassador of Cuban culture and pride as well as his colleagues who made our stay enjoyable. The atmosphere in the lobby bar is warm with its piano bar and the many musicians who perform in the evening. We went to the 2 restaurants available and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the many choices on the menu. The service and staff were dedicated and attentive to the needs of the guests. The snack bar open 24 hours had a good menu served with a smile. Thanks to Elliana, Maité and Chino for their very good service. I would recommend Angsana Cayo Santa Maria to anyone looking for tranquility. Martin from Quebec
